Construction of the Michigan City Welcome Center project in LaPorte County, Indiana. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: All work within the building perimeter and the associated exterior perimeter of the building required for footing installation. Work defined in the architectural and structural drawings, including but not limited to cast in place concrete, masonry, structural steel, decking, cold formed framings, metal fabrications, specialty metals, sheathing, waterproofing, roof systems, insulation systems, metal and composite material wall panels, specialty glazing systems, doors, door hardware, interior finishes, specialties and furnishings. Work designed in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings within the building perimeter and extensions to connection to site utility services. Maintenance of Traffic to install warning signage and lane closures for reconstruction of the Deceleration and Acceleration Ramps. Demolition of the existing facilities including but not limited to existing buildings, parking, interstate ramps and site utilities. Grading and mass earthwork to proposed grades. Installation of stormwater infrastructure including underground detention system. Inground work including but not limited to sanitary sewer and lift station, well pump installation, on site water pipe, power and communication utilities. Installation of QC/QA PCCP Pavement for Ramp, Truck and Car parking constructed to INDOT Standards. Lighting Luminaires and ITS equipment constructed to INDOT Standards Pedestrian pavements on site and outside of the exterior perimeter of the building. Plantings including but not limited to all tress, perennials, shrubs, sodded and seeded lawn. Site amenities including but not limited to playground area and equipment, picnic tables, benches, trash receptacles. Temporary and permanent irrigation.
