Sealed bids are requested for the Francis Sheckler Elementary School Built-In Pass-Through Heated Holding and Refrigeration Unit Replacement (SHECKLER KITCHEN EQUIPMENT BID). Bid submissions may be submitted as hard copy or electronically, must be clearly marked "BID - SHECKLER KITCHEN EQUIPMENT," and must include all requested bid documents completed in their entirety. Bidders' proposals must include proposal security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, treasurer's check, or bid bond with satisfactory corporate surety in an amount no less than 10% of the total bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Participation by small businesses, minority-owned businesses, and women-owned businesses is encouraged. All applicable Federal, State, and Local procurement laws apply, and compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 Uniform Guidance is required. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in compliance with applicable law. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions, and to award the contract in the best interest of the District.
