Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Herculaneum, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of 2382 square yards of concrete pavement, as well as all other incidental items and work described in the drawings, specifications, and other contract documents, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Bid packages will be distributed electronically at no cost, and hard copies are not available for purchase. Bidders are responsible for printing their own copies. Bidders must provide company information to be added to the Plan Holders List to receive official communications and addenda. All project and bidding questions must be submitted via email. A bid security of five percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. Wage rates are predetermined as required by law. Bidders must comply with employment verification requirements and provide an affidavit affirming participation in the federal work authorization program and that employees are not illegal immigrants. Upon contract signing, contractors and subcontractors must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees within sixty days of starting work. The owner will award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder but reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities.
