Renovation of a multi-residential development in California City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-unit multi-residential development.
Professional contracting services are sought for restoration and repairs of fire damage on three units at 21000 Hacienda Blvd., California City, CA 93505. Question Deadline 06/11/2026 at 2:00 PM PT Deadline for submitting questions for the RFP. All inquiries concerning this RFP should be directed to the following Contact Person: Nicole Jarmon Housing Manager Desert Jade Villas 1 Desert Jade Cir California City, CA 93505 Deadline for submitting questions .... Thursday June 11 at 2pm The Successful Proposer must have California Contractor Licenses B (General), C-21 (Building Moving, Demolition), and C-22 (Asbestos Abatement). The proposer also needs to provide the City with a complete proposal for full restoration of the property located at 21341 Desert Jade Cir, following fire damage that entered the attic space. The scope includes, but is not limited to. o Unit 85: Repairs to the bathroom, full replacement of carpet and padding, and professional cleaning and painting. o Units 86 & 87: Complete demo and replacement of all interior finishes throughout the units. o Roofing: Removal and replacement of the entire truss system and roof finish (Cement Shingles) o Exterior: Necessary repairs to the painted stucco exterior. o General Requirements: Residential supervision/project management, temporary power, and site sanitation (portable toilets) for a duration determined by the contractor. C. Services Provided by the City The City will provide a Contact Person as a primary point of contact, who will arrange to help with any questions. The City will assist with providing any available information. The City will also be available to meet and discuss the requirements. D. Selection Process 1. All proposals received by the specified deadline will be reviewed by a City Evaluation Committee. After the initial scoring, the Evaluation Committee may select those firms deemed most qualified for this project for further evaluation. Interviews of these selected firms may be conducted as part of the final selection process. Proposers are advised that the City, at its option, may award a contract strictly based on the initial proposals and not create a short list of proposals for further consideration. Bid date desp-It is strongly suggested that any proposers intending to hand deliver a proposal on the last day for submission arrive at City Hall, 21000 Hacienda Blvd; California City, CA 93505, at least ten (10) minutes prior to the proposal receipt deadline to receive a "test" time stamp to validate the official current time. The timestamp clock at City Hall, 21000 Hacienda Blvd; California City, CA 93505, will be the official time. Any proposal received at or after 5:00 pm. will be returned unopened
