Sealed bids are requested for the Wharton Township Municipal Park Compost Toilet Facilities and for the TR798 Smith School Road Culvert Replacement, located in Wharton Township, Fayette County, PA. Contract Documents, including drawings and specifications, are available at McMillen Engineering, Inc. and may be obtained digitally for a nonrefundable fee, or as hardcopies for an additional fee. A mandatory pre-bid meeting for each project is required for all potential bidders. Bids must include Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates as required by the Prevailing Wage Act No. 442 of 1961. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within 120 days following bid opening. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any formalities in the bidding process.
