Site work and paving for a road / highway in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
5,597 square yards of a Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion, CRS-2PM (E-3M) or RS-2PM (E-2M) and #8 Stone with a 1.0% Loss by Wash, followed by a Bituminous Fog Seal, must be installed according to current PennDOT 408 Specifications/Section 472. All materials and workmanship must meet requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 – Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified for Work Class “F4” Bituminous Surface Treatments. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the township. All bids must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract price within 20 days of award. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or project portions and to delete projects or portions based on budget constraints and may waive technicalities. All work must be completed by October 1, 2026; liquidated damages will apply at $875 per day beyond this date for incomplete work.
