Requests for proposals to contract out street sweeping services for the City of Greenwood, Missouri. The scope of services for this bid are set forth in the RFP and attached Exhibit(s). Proposals must be addressed to Travis Walker, Public Works Director, and be received before 10:00 AM local time on the specified date. Pricing and any details pertaining to the RFP should be in a sealed envelope, with three original proposals included in a marked outer envelope by RFP number and date of closing. Vendors, contractors, or proposers should use the forms provided for submitting quotes, give unit prices, extend totals, and sign the quote as required. Identify items by brand or manufacturer's name and catalog numbers if applicable, and provide all specifications and descriptive literature. Whenever products or materials or any particular producer or manufacturer are mentioned in the specifications, they are intended to be descriptive of type or quality and not restrictive. The City of Greenwood is exempt from payment of Missouri Sales and Use Tax and from payment of Federal Excise Taxes. Delivery dates or dates when work will start must be stated in definite terms and will be considered when making the award. The City reserves the right to cancel all or any part of any orders if delivery or service is not made, or work is not started as guaranteed. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and/or alternatives, to waive technicalities, and to accept the offer the City considers to be the most advantageous.
