Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The County of Frontenac invites quotations for the work to replace the pipes and valves around the heating pumps located in the boiler room at Fairmount Home. The scope of work includes: draining the heating loop fluid into drums; replacing pipe and valves around the heating pumps; refilling the system with fluid that was captured in drums; filling the system and verifying no leaks on the replaced portion; replacing valves and balancing valves at the boilers; replacing a 6" Victaulic in the mechanical room; replacing 3" Victaulic fittings in the CRCA hallway; replacing the chemical pot feeder and feeder at the heating pumps; balancing pumps; and reinsulating pipes. Quotations should cover all material, labour, overhead, equipment, and any other expenses necessary to complete the repairs. Bidders are to submit quotations online only.
