Site work, paving and new construction of a day care center in Brooklyn, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 16,632-square-foot day care center.

Construction of a new Child Development Center (16,632 sf) with adjacent outdoor play areas (16,667 sf) for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years. The facility will include all required program spaces including kitchen facilities, building information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection. Outdoor play areas include age-appropriate child development equipment, safety surfacing and fencing. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, Low Impact Development (LID), landscaping and signage. Work will include installation of information systems, video monitoring, alarm and intercom systems. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained system. Construction will include the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism Force Protection for Buildings standards. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Cyber Security Measures will be incorporated into this project, and Sustainability/Energy measures will be provided. This project will be solicited via the 1-step Best Value Trade-off (BVTO) method in accordance with FAR Part 15.101-2. This project is advertised as “unrestricted” and a sub-contracting plan will be required. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Sam.gov web-site for any amendments. Offerors are required to be registered in the SAM.gov.
