Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Reading, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes replacing a section of the water main located on Hopkins Street between Main Street and Bear Hill Road. The work includes, but is not limited to, all excavation, backfill, dewatering, replacing existing water main with new 12" cement lined ductile iron water main, installing water services, appurtenances, bypass and structures specified on the drawings, and all other necessary work needed to complete the project. Question Deadline 06/04/2026 Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing (typed, not handwritten) addressed to purchasing@ci.reading.ma.us. It is the bidder responsibility to confirm that any request has been received. To be given consideration a request must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
