Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Middlebury, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project involves the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks at specific locations within the community to enhance pedestrian safety, accessibility, and infrastructure quality. The work includes removal and replacement of sidewalk panels at multiple addresses and streets: Seminary Street Extension, Washington Street Extension, Seymour Street, Court Street, Weybridge Street, Monroe Street with concrete curb installation, Main Street and Mill Street Intersection with granite curb reinstallation, Buttolph Drive, and Elm Street. The specific locations and quantities of sidewalk panels to be replaced are marked with paint, and it is the contractor's responsibility to confirm the scope of work at each site with the town before performing any work. Contractors must provide all concrete slips to the Town and engineer. Project Components - The project consists of all work necessary to remove and replace concrete sidewalks that the Town has selected for rehabilitation, the work includes the following: o Seminary Street Ext. a. Replacement of forty-five panels (225ft) that run consecutively. Starting point is an orange paint mark with an arrow pointing East located on the sidewalk in front of #60 Seminary St Ext. The end point will be an orange paint mark with an arrow pointing West located on the sidewalk just East of Old College Farm Rd. This section also includes the following replacements: b. Replacement of 2 panels (10ft) in front of 66 Seminary Street Ext. c. Replacement of 7 panels (35ft) in front of 68 Seminary Street Ext. d. Replacement of 11 panels (55ft) in front of 72 Seminary Street Ext. o Washington Street Ext. a. Replacement of 104 panels (520ft) that run consecutively. Starting point is an orange paint mark with an arrow pointing south located on the sidewalk south of the southern entrance to Colonial Dr. The end point will be an orange paint mark with an arrow pointing north located on the sidewalk in front of the cemetery. Note: leave the two asphalt driveway entrances as is at the animal hospital. o Seymour Street a. Replacement of thirty panels (150ft) that run consecutively. Starting point is an orange paint mark with an arrow pointing north located on the sidewalk in front of #12 Seymour St. The end point will be an orange paint mark with arrow pointing south located in front of #18 Seymour St. Questions related to the bid must be submitted by email. Contractors are required to attend a mandatory site visit and pre-bid conference. The contractor is also responsible for following the painted markings to determine the precise limits of sidewalk replacement.
