Renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot in Seward, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Seward is seeking proposals from qualified Design/Builders to furnish all labor, materials, and necessary equipment for the replacement of the pedestrian boardwalk/railing between Dairy Hill and the Rotary Pavilion. The successful proposer is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, site preparation, procurement of materials, removal/disposal and construction of the current boardwalk. The structure must meet all applicable State of Alaska snow load and building code requirements for Seward. Qualified proposers should have experience with the design and build process and have completed similar design/fabrication projects. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the project name, to the specified address. Late proposals will not be accepted. The City of Seward reserves the right to reject any and all bids or not award a contract if deemed in the best interest of the City. The solicitation does not commit the City to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of the bid or to award any contract.
