Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Lewistown, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project involves the replacement of the existing HVAC control system at Lovington Grade School. Drawings and specifications can be obtained by contacting WRF Engineers. Bidders must deliver sealed bids to the District Office by the specified deadline. All bids must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the project title. Late bids will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. The sealed bids will be publicly opened immediately after the submission deadline. Contractors are required to pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, in compliance with the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). All contractor's bonds must guarantee the faithful performance of the prevailing wage clause as provided by the bid specification. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
