The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to obtain qualified contractors to supply and install municipal roadway lighting infrastructure along Monkman Way within the District of Tumbler Ridge. The project is intended to improve roadway illumination, pedestrian visibility, public safety, and overall accessibility within the corridor through the installation of approximately fifty (50) hard-wired Lumec 50W / 40 LED cobra head roadway lighting fixtures mounted on fifteen foot (15 ft.) poles, complete with associated electrical infrastructure and site restoration works. The District is seeking experienced contractors capable of delivering the project in accordance with applicable municipal standards, Canadian Electrical Code requirements, WorkSafeBC regulations, and industry best practices. The District of Tumbler Ridge is seeking qualified contractors to supply and install municipal roadway lighting infrastructure along Monkman Way within the District of Tumbler Ridge. The Contractor shall provide all labour, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, permits, tools, traffic control, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to: Supply and installation of approximately fifty (50) Lumec 50W / 40 LED cobra head roadway lighting fixtures Supply and installation of fifteen-foot (15ft.) lighting poles complete with mounting hardware Excavation and trenching for underground electrical infrastructure Concrete forming and installation of pole foundations Installation of underground conduit and wiring Electrical servicing and system connections Coordination with BC Hydro where required Utility locates prior to excavation Backfilling and restoration of disturbed areas Surface reinstatement and cleanup Traffic management and traffic control measures Testing, commissioning, and adjustment of the lighting systems
