The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to obtain competitive bids from qualified contractors for the supply and application of Type 2 Micro Surfacing on selected municipal roadways within the District of Tumbler Ridge. This project forms part of the District's ongoing roadway preservation and infrastructure maintenance program aimed at extending pavement life, improving roadway conditions, enhancing public safety, and reducing long-term rehabilitation costs through proactive maintenance treatments. The Contractor shall provide all labour, supervision, materials, traffic control, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the following: Roadway inspection and preparation Surface sweeping and cleaning Crack sealing where required Application of Type 2 Micro Surfacing Supply of aggregate, emulsions, additives, and water Adjustment and protection of utilities and appurtenances Traffic management and public safety measures Protection of existing infrastructure and pavement markings Final clean-up and deficiency corrections Pavement line painting including: One (1) yellow centre line Two (2) white shoulder lines All work shall be completed in accordance with: MMCD Specifications where applicable TAC Guidelines Provincial safety regulations WorkSafeBC requirements Manufacturer specifications for Type 2 Micro Surfacing applications
