Request for Proposal for the design of a Storage Building in the City of Sheboygan and the associated site design. SCOPE OF SERVICES Scope of services include, but are not limited to, the following items. It is the Consultants responsibility to determine if any additional work is required to prepare the plans and specifications required to successfully bid and construct the structure. Project Management Utility and Agency Coordination Prepare Documents for Notice of Intent to DNR (City will submit application) Obtain applicable permits from City including a plumbing permit for sewer connection, building permit, and an architecture review. Obtain any State building permits required. Prepare plans and specifications suitable for construction of the pre-engineered steel building. The City of Sheboygan will bid the plans using QuestCDN. Plans and specifications anticipated to include the following: Structure to be 120 wide by 220 long by 21 tall Reinforced concrete footings and frost wall building foundation Minimum 6 thick reinforced concrete building slab Cast-in-place concrete trench drain with heavy-duty cast iron grate and one manhole with sediment basin. Design drain to connect to existing City of Sheboygan sanitary sewer system. 6 high split face insulated CMU block on three walls of structure Four 6 diameter concrete filled steel guard posts with HDPE bollard cover at eachoverhead door (total 16) Four insulated hollow metal personnel doors with hardware Four 16x16 insulated sectional overhead doors with operators, three button control stations, and safety photo eyes Building will have clear span columns for a space that is entirely open. A minimum 18 tall clear height shall be maintained at all points throughout the building. 26-gage prefinished metal wall panels and 24-gage standing seam metal roof panels. o Electrical for the building including cabinet and panels, exterior wall pack lighting, interior lighting, convenience receptacles, emergency egress and exit lighting and wiring of equipment specific to the building. Insulation and Heating: Building shall be insulated.
