Site work for a water / sewer project in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the construction of new sanitary sewer and water main extensions. Work for the sanitary system includes construction of sanitary sewers and manholes by open trench construction. Work for the water system includes construction of water mains, hydrants, and public side water services by open trench and horizontal directional drilling construction techniques. Trench restoration in landscaped and asphalt pavement locations is required. Bids will only be accepted through QuestCDN.com via their electronic VirtuBidTM online bid service. Prospective bidders must download the digital project bidding documents for a fee from QuestCDN to access the vBid system. Paper sets of bidding documents will not be made available. Bidders will be charged a fee for bid submission. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount equal to the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, or accept the bid that best serves its interests. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid opening without Owner consent.
