The work consists of park improvements for the Evergreen Park Access Road in the City of Sheboygan. The base bid includes 125 cubic yards of common excavation, 3590 square yards of milling asphaltic pavement, 175 tons of base aggregate, 105 linear feet of curb and gutter, 725 tons of asphaltic surface, 400 linear feet of silt fence, and 575 square yards of topsoil and hydro-seed. Alternate 1 includes 410 square yards of milling asphaltic pavement and 75 tons of asphaltic surface. Sealed public bids will be received online via the QuestCDN vBid website. No paper bids will be accepted. Complete digital project bidding documents are available at www.questcdn.com for a non-refundable fee. All bidders must file a valid Bidder's Proof of Responsibility form with the Engineering Division at least five days prior to bid opening. Only qualified bidders will be permitted to bid and must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN to access the bid form. The successful bidder and any requested bidders must submit a Bidder's Proof of the City Responsibility Affidavit and Non-Collusion Affidavit from each subcontractor within ten days after bid opening. A satisfactory bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the bid is required. The contract letting is subject to the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes Sections 62.15, 66.0901, and 779.15. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
