Pierce County intends to hire a firm to complete the design for the replacement of the Spanaway Lake Park Fishing Pier, which is located at 14905 Bresemann Blvd S, Spanaway, WA 98387. The scope of work involves providing pier design services for the replacement of a fishing pier that has reached the end of its useful life and was further damaged by watercraft in 2021. A structural analysis has determined that both the pier and the support pilings need replacement. Preliminary design work has already been completed, and permit processes are underway.
