Removal and replacement of an existing 4,800 MBTU summer boiler with a new 7,500 MBTU natural gas-fired watertube boiler system, including all associated equipment, materials, labor, and incidentals. Work includes complete demolition and disposal of the existing boiler and related components such as steam piping, feedwater piping, blowdown piping, venting, electrical connections, and portions of the stack. The contractor shall furnish and install a new boiler system (Cleaver Brooks M5-700-7500-150St or equivalent) with all required piping, valves, gauges, regulators, safety devices, gas train modifications, electrical connections, and control systems. Additional work includes installation of steam spool pieces, non-return and stop valves, integration with the existing steam distribution system, installation and testing of the HAWK actuator system, commissioning, boil-out procedures, and full operational testing. The project must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local codes and standards, and include delivery of operation manuals, troubleshooting documentation, and training for facility staff.
