West Manchester Township is requesting bids for the Maintenance & Emergency Contract (Excavation). The contract includes emergency and maintenance work for Township-owned utilities, including but not limited to, the existing sanitary sewer and storm sewer collection and conveyance systems. Work consists of the repair of existing facilities upon issuance of Work Orders by the Owner. Instructions to bidders: - Sealed bids must be submitted online by the deadline. Bids received after the designated time will not be accepted. - Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond must be included with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. - All questions regarding the bidding documents must be submitted through the designated platform; telephone inquiries are not acceptable. - Bidders must submit a non-collusion affidavit and comply with all state anti-bid-rigging regulations. - Bidders are required to comply with federal and state statutes relating to environmental pollution and public natural resource preservation. - All contractors and subcontractors must use the Federal E-Verify system to confirm employees' eligibility to work in the U.S. and submit the Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for contract award. - Bids are irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening. - No bidder will be subject to discrimination on the basis of gender, race, color, creed, sex, age, physical disability, or national origin. - The Owner reserves the right to waive defects or reject any or all proposals as deemed in their best interest.
