This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26R0032 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Creek Bed Restoration at the Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC), located at 600 East Mermaid Lane, Wyndmoor, PA, 19038. The project includes removal and replacement of chain link gates and fencing, removal of abandoned railroad siding and culvert, tree and shrub removal, regrading creek banks, installation of riprap, vegetation, live stakes and turf, and erosion and sediment pollution control. Technical Approach Narrative. Provide a technical approach narrative for how this work will be accomplished. The technical approach narrative shall include: 1. Demonstration of how security will be maintained in an active research facility. 2. Demonstration of how work will be performed around an active research facility. 3. Identify material & equipment staging location. 4. Identify the proposed sequence of construction to accomplish the work. 5. Identify the project closeout procedure. 5. Key Personnel Experience. Provide resumes for key personnel. Resumes for the Site Superintendent and the Project Manager must be included to be considered acceptable. The resumes must clearly show experience in managing similar size renovation projects. For each key personnel provide the following information: This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors. The small business size standard is $19.0M.
