The project responds to rising container traffic at the harbor over the past decade and aims to improve durability and operational efficiency of the port’s infrastructure. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2027, with completion targeted for 2029. ____________ The scope of work consists of repairing asphalt pavement at various locations at Kawaihae Harbor on an "open-ended, as-needed" basis.
