The project involves extending the existing public sewer collection system from the Bridgeport Sewer District to serve lakeshore areas between Bridgeport and Lakeport, along with developed sections of Ladd Drive and Midlake Meadows Drive south of State Route 31. The work includes installation of a low-pressure collection system, individual grinder pumps for each property, new sewer mains connecting to the existing system on State Route 31, and construction of an additional equalization tank adjacent to the existing tank at the West Sullivan Pump Station. Sewage will ultimately be conveyed to the East Oneida Lake Water Pollution Abatement Project wastewater treatment plant in the Village of Sylvan Beach.
