Demolition and site work for a bridge / tunnel in Middlesex, Vermont. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of two stream crossing replacements on Lower Sunny Brook Road. Each crossing currently has side by side 60-inch CMP culverts. The proposed work includes installing a temporary roadway crossing (either upstream or downstream of the main crossing depending on the site), removing the existing CMPs, and installing an 18-foot by 6-foot concrete box culvert with headwalls and wing walls at each inlet and outlet. Interested contractors must attend a mandatory pre-bid site visit at 53 Lower Sunny Brook Road in Middlesex.
