Demolition and site work for a military facility in March Air Reserve Base, California. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
The work consists of removing an existing modular building approximately 83 feet by 36 feet and performing associated demolition and site preparation activities, including HVAC and electrical system removal. The project requires providing refrigerant recovery certification prior to HVAC removal. The scope also includes demolition of existing chain link fencing, posts, and gates, modification and installation of new fencing and gates, and demolition and replacement of fencing located at the flightline. Work will be executed in a defined sequence that includes modifying and installing fencing and gates, demolishing existing fencing and gates, removing HVAC and electrical components, demolishing the modular building, and reinstalling fencing at the flightline area. The contractor must be capable of performing all demolition, site preparation, and installation tasks in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
