Renovation of the 6th Floor Clinical Support area at the Iowa City VA Medical Center to provide suitable space for clinical support staff serving inpatient units on the 5th and 7th floors. Work includes construction and reconfiguration of offices, conference rooms, storage areas, staff workrooms, clean and soiled utility rooms, reception area, lactation room, electrical closet, restrooms, and specialized clinical areas such as EMG and NVC exam rooms. The contractor shall furnish all tools, materials, equipment, labor, and supervision required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and scope of work. All construction activities must be carefully planned and executed within an operational medical center to ensure no disruption to ongoing patient care and facility operations. the magnitude of construction for this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. The period of performance for this work is 371 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
