Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a transportation facility in Casper, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,140-square-foot transportation facility.

Project consists of a New Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building Facility at CPR. The ATCT Cab is an 8-sided, approximately 440 square foot space with a 360-degree view, sitting atop an approximately 127-foot tall shaft. The supporting Base Building is approximately 2,700 gross square feet. Work generally includes deep foundations, grade beams, concrete slabs, load-bearing cold formed metal framing, masonry, interior finishes, fire protection systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and telecommunications systems. Bid Alternate 1 includes fiber optic cabling and duct bank to Radar Site ASR8.
