Site work and paving for a road / highway in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for providing and installing either 1,168 tons of Superpave Asphalt Binder Course, 19.0mm, or 1,168 tons of Superpave Asphalt Binder Course, 19.0mm High RAP-LVR, in place. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided. For third class cities, a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid must accompany the proposal, payable to the municipality. Other municipal types may exercise discretion regarding this requirement. The successful bidder must supply a performance bond or certified check equal to 100% of the contract within 20 days of award. Liquidated damages apply at $975.00 per calendar day. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
