Romeo Community Schools requests bid proposals for Project 21-30-26 Romeo Community Schools Hevel Site Lighting. Proposals shall be based on the requirements set forth in the Project Manual, the bidding documents, and Construction Documents issued by Barton Malow Builders on behalf of the Owner, and the Specifications, Drawings, and Construction documents prepared by AEW on behalf of the Owner. The accepted bidders will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and submit Certificates of Insurance through TradeTapp. Bidders are required to include state sales and/or use taxes in their Bid Proposals. Bid Proposals must include a Bid Security by a qualified surety, an OSHA Form 300 for the most recent completed year, worker’s compensation, Experience Modification Rate (EMR) factor, and any other information required in the Instructions To Bidders. All Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship between the owner(s) or any employee of the Bidder and any member of the School Board or Superintendent. Proposals must also include an Affidavit of Compliance – Iran Economic Sanctions Act and a Criminal Background and Sex Offender Affidavit. Bidders are required to submit through Building Connected. The successful Bidder(s) will be required to enter into an agreement with Romeo Community Schools on the Agreement Form identified in the Project Manual. Bidders shall not withdraw Bid Proposals for a period of ninety (90) days after the Due Date for receipt of Bid Proposals. Questions may be directed to Barton Malow.
