The project generally consists of the removal and replacement of water main and associated services along Johnson Avenue between Michigan Avenue and College Avenue, removal and replacement of water main and associated services along College Avenue to the west alley, and the removal and replacement of two sanitary sewer manholes along College Avenue, including surface restoration and other associated work. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. An Idaho Public Works License is required to bid. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Owner. Any objections to the contents or terms of the documents shall be raised five days prior to bid opening or it shall be deemed to have been waived.
