Question Deadline 06/18/2026 at 10:00 AM ET All questions shall be referred to the Town at wheelocktown@gmail.com. Sealed bids are requested for the reconstruction and stabilization of the failing slope on Boulay Road. The work consists of removal and disposal of stumps, brush, and unsuitable material offsite; installation of stabilization material; construction of a concrete block retaining wall; bank reconstruction; various erosion control measures; roadside infrastructure; and road reconstruction. Bids are to be submitted for a single prime contract and shall be on a lump sum basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders may inspect the site from the public road and right-of-way. All questions should be referred to the Town. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the interests of the Owner. Women and minority businesses are encouraged to bid. Bids will be received in person or by email until the deadline. Bid package components and further instructions are available on the town website, where relevant documents are listed with Boulay Rd in the title. *The value for this project is based on a financial range of $90,000 and $130,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
