The work involves the milling of existing asphalt pavement and overlay paving for several blocks of city streets. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid proposal. The successful bidder must possess a public works construction license as specified by Idaho Code Title 54, Chapter 19, prior to entering into the contract. Further requirements for bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are provided in the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents. The City of Chubbuck reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to its interests.
