Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work to be performed consists of providing labor and materials to construct three emergency supply water interconnections, as specified in the contract documents. Bidders must submit a bid security equal to ten percent of the total bid amount, in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or bid bond. Bids must remain effective for sixty calendar days from the date of opening, or up to one hundred twenty days if delayed by required approvals, bond sales, or grant awards. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder and must be completed within 197 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidders are required to provide construction performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount, also covering a one-year correction period after completion of the work. All proposals must be submitted electronically through PennBid in PDF format, labeled accordingly. Incomplete or late proposals, as well as those submitted by other means, will not be considered. Original bid security must be delivered within seventy-two hours upon request. Required documents for submission include the bidder's name, title, email and phone, a bid bond for each contract, all required supporting documents, and a completed bidder acknowledgement form. General construction and electrical construction pricing response templates must also be submitted as specified.
