Description

New construction of a mixed-use development in Freeport, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 84,000-square-foot industrial development.

Port Freeport is seeking proposals from qualified firms to act as Owners Cold Storage Industry Representative for market development of a Cold Storage Warehouse and Cross-dock ("Cross-Dock #2" or "CD2"). CD2 will be an 84,000 square foot multi-temperature warehouse and distribution center offering transloading, cross-docking, short and long-term storage, case picking, pallet modification, quality holds, pool consolidation and distribution, U.S. CBP agricultural inspections, blast freezing, and fumigations. Proposals should be submitted with lump sum monthly pricing, including up to five trips, and with the understanding that there is no guaranteed contract term. All proposals must be sealed as specified in the request for proposal.
