Sealed proposals are requested for the collection of municipal waste and recyclables for terms of one, two, three, four, and/or five years. The work includes the provision of 90-99 gallon waste toter carts and 90-99 gallon recyclable toter carts. Bids must be submitted on forms provided, and must include a Certified Check or bid bond for 10% of the total lump bid for all five years. A performance bond or other surety is required based on the contract term: 100% for one year, 80% for two years, 60% for three years, 40% for four years, and 20% for five years. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive defects or irregularities, and make any award in its best interest.
