Sealed bids will be received for TULLYTOWN MAIN STREET IMPROVEMENTS - TREE REMOVAL. The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision required for construction, specifically tree removal and stump grinding as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified. The successful Contractor must comply with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state. Bids must be submitted unconditionally and no bidder may withdraw bids within 30 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept the bid that it deems, in its sole judgement, to be in the best interest of the Borough. Questions regarding the advertisement will only be accepted online via the PennBid website until 10:00 A.M. on the 17th day of June 2026.
