Tullytown Borough Growing Greener Municipal Improvements Question Deadline 03/11/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Location : online portal. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project involves trail milling and excavating, base repair, and placement of wearing and base courses. This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day. The project is being funded by a grant and the grant requirements have a specific deadline date. The successful bidder must complete the work no later than 45 days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The completion date and liquidated damages provision will be strictly enforced. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owners reserve the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
