Demolition, renovation and addition to a laboratory facility in University Park, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a laboratory facility; and 30,000-square-foot laboratory facility.
The Animal Diagnostic Laboratory Addition at University Park will provide a 30,000 square foot addition to accommodate current and projected operational needs proficiently and safely. The addition will include a sample receiving area, shared core laboratory space, Bacteriology, Serology, Virology, Histopathology, Parasitology labs, Molecular Diagnostics, Pathology, and conference, office, and support spaces. Replacement of the existing incinerator is included. Other renovations to the existing facility and demolition of existing adjacent buildings will be explored as budget permits.
