The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from interested parties for the rehabilitation of one home located in Adair County. Work will include HVAC, paint and finish, roofing, drywall and finish, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances. Work must be completed according to the work write-up within 28 working days. Work should begin within two weeks of notification, or $100.00 per day will be charged for liquidated damages for each day over the contract end date. To be considered responsive, the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up must be fully completed. Bidders must be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office to receive preference, and proof of certification must be included with submittals. Successful bidders will be obligated to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO. The award will be subject to availability of funds. Bids must be delivered by the deadline by email or hand delivery. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids will be accepted from Indian and Non-Indian bidders. Indian preference will be given only to bidders providing proof of current TERO certification. Cherokee Nation TERO requirements, including the fee of 1/2of 1% of the contract award and $25 per day per non-Indian employee, apply.
