Demolition for a residential development in Holly Springs, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development.
Prospective bidders must contact jwhughes@lja.com to obtain bid documents. The work consists of the complete demolition and disposal of an approximately 1908 square foot building with 2 floors, concrete driveway, asbestos surveys, septic tanks, and all other items at the site located at 208 Cedar Valley Court in the City of Holly Springs, GA. No trees are to be removed from the site unless required to remove the fence behind the house. Bidders must comply with Georgia Laws. Each bid must be sealed and clearly marked as a bid for "Demolition - 208 Cedar Valley Court Holly Springs, GA, 30115" with the name and address of the bidder on the envelope. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or an acceptable alternative equal to 5% of the total contract amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and a payment bond, each for 100% of the contract amount, and meet specified insurance requirements. Payment requests are due monthly, less 5% retainage held until final project acceptance. All bids remain valid for 60 days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities and re-advertise as necessary. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
