Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Huntley, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility.
Separate sealed bids will be submitted for each of the following contracts: Earthwork; Site Utilities; Concrete, Concrete Paving & Asphalt Paving; Masonry; Overhead Doors; General Trades; Electrical, Low Voltage & Fire Alarm; HVAC; and Fire Suppression. The contracts consist of work related to the installation of a pre-engineered golf entertainment building and site work around the golf entertainment building, driving range, and first tee box. Bids must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary. All contracts and subcontracts performing installation must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including payment of the prevailing rate of wage to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics engaged in the work. Bidders must download plans, specifications, and proposal forms from the designated Procore webpage by contacting the construction manager. Printed bid documents can be purchased after making arrangements with the construction manager. The Huntley Park District affirms that minority business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and not be discriminated against based on race, color, or national origin. The Huntley Park District reserves the right to award contracts to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities, informalities, or technicalities in bidding, and to accept any proposals or portions of the bid work that, in its sole judgment, will be for the best interests of the Park District and its residents. Bids received after the due date and time will be rejected. Contractors agree to be bound to the terms of their bid for sixty calendar days after the bid opening date. If contracts are awarded, the successful bidder will be required to post performance and labor and material payment bonds, and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the Illinois Human Rights Act. Any questions regarding bid preparation should be directed as specified. All questions must be submitted by the indicated deadline. Written questions and answers will be distributed to all registered plan holders via addendum.
