The work includes the full depth reconstruction of the existing tennis courts, replacement of the fencing, color coating surface, nets, curb repair, as well as all other work of any type or description necessary for completion of the project, whether or not specifically described in the contract documents. All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from notice to proceed. Bid packets must be completed as designated in the contract documents, enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, address, and the project name on the outside, and addressed to the Borough of Keansburg. Bid packets must include a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check made out to the Borough of Keansburg for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond for the full project amount. Bidders must comply with all statutory requirements of the contract documents, including affirmative action, business registration, prevailing wage, and public work contractor registration. The Borough of Keansburg will award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, reserves the right to reject any or all bid packets as permitted by law, and will make an award or reject bids within sixty calendar days after bid opening.
