Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Union Beach, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of roadway resurfacing and related improvements along Poole Avenue, Shore Road, and Cambridge Avenue, as well as site upgrades at the Union Hose (Union Fire House) Parking Lot. Work on Poole Avenue includes milling and overlaying the roadway, ADA-compliant curb ramp upgrades where required, localized base repairs, and selective curb replacement. Improvements along Shore Road include installation of new curb on both sides of the roadway and targeted pavement repairs. Cambridge Avenue work involves milling and paving with limited base repair and curb replacement where existing conditions warrant. Proposals must be made on the standard proposal forms included with the contract documents in the manner designated, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, and addressed accordingly. Proposals must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a company authorized in New Jersey and acceptable to the owner, and either a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent of the bid (not to exceed $20,000). The successful bidder is required to provide a performance bond and labor and material payment bond for the full project amount. Proposals will only be accepted from properly qualified bidders according to contract document requirements. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, or waive informalities not detrimental to the owner's best interest, except for those deemed mandatory and non-waivable. The successful bidder must comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
