The scope of work includes the furnishing and delivering of Clarifloc C-9555 or equal, for sludge dewatering operations on an as needed basis. The listed brand name serves as a reference for the functional or operational characteristics desired. Where an equivalent is submitted, it is the bidder's responsibility to document equivalence; failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid. All work will take place at the Wastewater Treatment Plant Facility at 100 Oak Street, Union Beach, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Bid submissions must be in sealed envelopes clearly marked "BID" and must be received by the specified date and time. One original and one copy of the bid proposal documents must be provided, using the forms furnished, and accompanied by a bid guarantee (bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check) made payable to the Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid, not exceeding $20,000. The bid must also include a Certificate of Surety from a company licensed to do business in New Jersey, representing that required bonds will be provided. Bids will be evaluated with any award made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the solicitation.
