Sealed bids are requested for furnishing On Call Tree Trimming and Removal Services for the Tisbury Public Works Department. Bids must be submitted to the Department of Public Works at 115 High Point Lane, Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts. Bids will be opened publicly. No bidder may withdraw their bid for thirty days after the opening date. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, must be observed. Bidding and award will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M and Section 39S. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, or take other actions deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Town. Tisbury is an affirmative action/equal opportunity purchaser.
