The project consists of 1,153 feet of channel bank improvements for Paramour Creek. The work includes clearing and grubbing, rock channel protection slope protection, bank grading, and erosion control. Bidders are required to purchase and download an electronic set of bid documents via the specified website to be eligible to submit a bid. Each bid must be accompanied by either an Ohio Revised Code Section 153.571 Bid and Performance Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid; or, a cashier's check, bid bond, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements and prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Crawford County and Village of Crestline is required. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject any or all bids. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest and best bid. The estimated cost of the construction is $189,000.00.
