Renovation of a municipal facility in Beaufort, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project includes replacing approximately 154 existing windows, storefront doors, and multiple storefront and curtain-wall systems. Work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, installation, finishing, and related services needed to complete the project. The Courthouse will remain occupied and operational during construction. Contractors must coordinate work with the County to maintain courthouse security, public access, and safe operations while minimizing disruptions. The project also includes temporary weather protection, debris removal, interior and exterior finishing, and final cleanup. The selected contractor will be responsible for field-verifying measurements, obtaining required permits, protecting existing building components, and completing all work in accordance with the bid documents.
