03 00 00 - Concrete PROJECT REQUIREMENTS 1. Locate existing utilities before start of construction and protect existing utilities to remain during and/or after construction. 2. Subgrade preparation shall be made to the required depth and to a width that will permit the installation and bracing of the forms. The subgrade shall be shaped and compacted to a firm, even surface in conformity with existing grade. All soft and yielding material shall be removed and replaced with 12” thick Class 2 Aggregate Base and shall then be compacted to 95% relative compaction. 3. Set forms, install reinforcing steel at 12” on center each way and dowels at 18” on center, pour and finish 4” thick storage pad as indicated on Location Plan. 4. Hydrovac UG electrical trench ensuring pathway does not interfere with concrete footings. Install two (2) 2” RGC above ground and PVC Schedule 40 Pipe underground electrical pathway and a pull wire in one of the conduits.
