The Hillsborough County Nursing Home seeks to enter into an agreement with a qualified contractor to perform the necessary replacement and repair of a deteriorated sewer line located within the facility. The existing sewer infrastructure has experienced significant deterioration and a recent inspection identified substantial damage requiring corrective action to restore the integrity and functionality of the sewer system. The project is expected to include, but is not limited to: removal of existing concrete flooring, excavation and repair or replacement of damaged sewer piping, inspection of associated sewer components, and restoration of affected building surfaces. All work must be performed in a manner that minimizes disruption to residents, staff, and daily services while maintaining uninterrupted sanitary service throughout the project. A site visit is mandatory for all bidders. Bidders must submit bids that meet the required specifications as written, and bid prices should be quoted as "not to exceed." A person authorized to legally obligate the bidder must sign the bid, and proposals must be valid for one hundred and eighty (180) days following the submission deadline or until the effective date of any resulting contract. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance of the conditions contained in the request unless specifically noted in the proposal and confirmed in the contract. The County is not responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of or in connection with the proposal, or for work performed prior to the effective date of a contract.
